The blue that Mykonos is famous for isn't the postcard blue.
It's quieter than that. Found in the shadow cast across whitewashed render. In the gap between a door and its frame. In the hour when the crowds have thinned and the island is finally breathing.
Deep Blue Scenes is a series of photographs from the suburbs of Mykonos — the parts that aren't on the itinerary, the corners that reveal themselves only to those moving slowly enough to notice. Together they form a single sustained atmosphere: cool tones, muted light, and the particular stillness of a Mediterranean afternoon that belongs only to itself.
This is not travel photography. It is a mood, made physical.
Each work in the series carries the same emotional temperature — a quiet that doesn't need explaining. Hung together, they create an environment. Hung individually, each holds its own.
